Studied in China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine for master degree of medicine during Sep.1979-Jul.1982; studied in Paris University from May 1986 to May 1989 for doctor degree of life science; specialized in neuroscience from May 1989-May 1990 with post-doctor work in INSERM in France; has taken charge of the research of 1 National “973” Acupuncture Research Project, 7 National Natural Scientific Fund Projects, 3 Planned Research Projects, 4 Special Research Projects From the Ministry of Personnel and State Committee of Science, and 1 Beijing National Science Fund Project; has composed a medical book Scientific Basis of Acupuncture; 12 of the research projects taken part in and taken charge of have been awarded the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes successively by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine; director of the Science Lab of the key research on meridians of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the head of acupuncture science at present; 33 academic theses have been published in SCI international journals so far.
